Rally Arcade Classics has recently announced the Precision & Chase update, which goes live on September 9, and aims to take the game to the next level by introducing a manual transmission mode and a revamped speedometer, among other features.
The game delivers an arcade racing experience with simulation elements, and the addition of a manual transmission mode will make it more immersive and enjoyable to play. It's arguably Rally Arcade Classics' biggest update so far, so let's deep dive into it.
Precision & Chase Update Aims to Revolutionize the Rally Arcade Classics Experience

The Rally Arcade Classics Precision & Chase update is massive for the game, as it adds a manual transmission mode, a revamped speedometer, introduces an online friends list, and a revamp to the classification tables, with new filter settings being added to the feature.
Players will be able to check if they got their best time racing in the manual or automatic mode, providing more insight into players' driving skills and performances. A new speedometer will be added to the interface, with manual pilots having a larger interface than automatic ones, where they can check the speed and revolutions.
The friends list is arriving in the Precision & Chase update, with players being able to have 25 pilots on their friends list. But that's now all, as the classification table underwent significant changes, with players now able to use different settings to filter the table, such as global position, top 10, and top friends.
This is a massive update for Rally Arcade Classics, and one you should definitely check out if you love classic rally arcade games with iconic cars and unique and exciting tracks.
Rally Arcade Classics is available for Steam, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. It's a love letter to Rally arcade games, and its license progression system, where you need to prove your driving skills to unlock modes, makes it a true one-of-a-kind game.
