3DClouds has a lot planned for Formula Legends. The retro racer had a humble launch and has been all gas, no brakes ever since. So far, Formula Legends has received five major DLC packs, two of which were released on December 18, 2025, with patch 1.2.
More content and open-wheel will join this stylized world in the upcoming year, and not all of it will be 'inspired.' Formula Legends will receive its first-ever officially licensed championship later in the year. 3DClouds is tight-lipped about any details regarding the championship, but we have a clear picture of everything else.
Continue reading to know the Formula Legends roadmap for the first half of 2026, as well as details on the recent 1.2. patch.
Formula Legends Early 2026 Roadmap

2026 for Formula Legends will kick off by adding steering wheel support with Fanatec, Moza, Thrustmaster, and Logitech among the supported manufacturers. February will also see the colorful racer get a little rugged with reworked collision and visual damage.
New content will get added in March with themed DLC, a tracks pack, and a closed beta for the upcoming multiplayer. Registration for the beta will open soon, so keep an eye on official channels.
If you don't get invited, the wait won't be long, as Online Multiplayer is slated for an April release. Following all this is the first-ever officially licensed championship in May. We will have to wait to learn more about that, unfortunately.
