  • Status: Confirmed

  • Quick Answer: In the next three months, JDM will introduce Multiplayer and a highly requested Livery Editor. Players can also expect Paid Car DLC 2 and a batch of Free JDM Cars as a community "thank you."

Following its PlayStation 5 release on February 4JDM is now available across all major platforms. It arrived with all the improvements and the post-launch content, making it a much more complete package than at launch

Even more content is scheduled for the arcade racer, as Gaming Factory has shared a full Q2 roadmap. Below is a full rundown of everything coming to JDM: Japanese Drift Master in the upcoming quarter.

While developers haven't shared specific details about the content, they've outlined the general roadmap for what we can expect.

The first of the major content drops from JDM is a paid car DLC. We have no news or hints on which cars will be featured, but it should be similar to the Made in USA pack released earlier.

Made in USA added wheels inspired by American sports or muscle cars like the Dodge Viper and Ford Mustang. A similarly themed pack with multiple cars can be expected from the upcoming DLC.

The Made in USA pack was priced at $5.99, so the new DLC should be priced the same or thereabouts. More new cars will be added for free shortly after the DLC as a ‘thank you’ to the ‘supportive community.’

Next in line will be multiplayer and liveries support. No specific details were shared on either of them. Multiplayer has been under "heavy development for weeks, and it is progressing nicely." A full briefing on the mode will arrive before its targeted Q2 launch.

Speaking of liveries, developers said, "Yes, we know it’s taking forever to bring this to the game, and we’re really sorry for that. Making sure this feature will not negatively impact the game’s performance, we decided to give ourselves even more time to work on it." They also confirmed it'll be the last update for the next quarter.

To sum all that up, here are the things coming in Q2 2026 (April to June) for JDM: Japanese Drift Master:

  • Paid Car DLC 2
  • Free JDM Cars
  • Multiplayer
  • Liveries

Gaming Factory also hinted at a Nintendo Switch 2 port. The roadmap post began with, "... now being on almost all major platforms (looking at you, Nintendo Switch 2)." There is no official timeline for Nintendo Switch 2 release, but it does appear the game is bound to come to the handheld.

Also shared in the roadmap was official support for Logitech and Thrustmaster steering wheels on PlayStation 5. It is now live. Developers are "actively looking into adding wheel support to Xbox."

That's everything about the roadmap for the coming month of JDM: Japanese Drift Master.
