Gran Turismo 7 has introduced a new online time trial that takes you to the iconic Sardegna - Road Track - A, a 5.1 km long real-world circuit-type track based on a real-life location in Italy.

Gran Turismo 7 Sardegna Road Track A Lap Time Challenge
This new lap time challenge in GT7 takes players to the Sardegna - Road Track - A, an original circuit-type track in Italy that's around 5.1 km long.
In this race, you are allowed to use the Renault Sport Clio R.S. 220 EDC Trophy '16, developed by the motorsports department of Renault and introduced at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show as an even higher-performance model than the R.S. 200 EDC.
However, despite being quite a capable and powerful car, there are some limitations, as the vehicle should be equipped with sports hard tires and a wide body, along with nitrous/overtake being prohibited.

- BoP/Tuning Prohibited: On
- Car Settings: Specified
- Track Limit: Normal
- Shortcut Penalty: Invalidate Time
Currently, the top contenders are racing around the 2:04.232 mark with a DR of A+ and an SR of S.
These lap time challenges are updated every Thursday, with each challenge available for around two weeks.
