In F1 25, Codemasters reworks the My Team mode in a major way. Instead of playing as a driver-owner, you're now positioned entirely as a team principal.

You control everything that matters: recruitment, sponsorship deals, performance upgrades, and future planning.

One of the standout new features reflecting the focus on management is the Fan Points system, which brings a more dynamic reputation system to the game.

What Are Fan Points and How Do They Work?

Fan Points connect directly to your Fan Rating, which measures how popular and successful your team is in Formula 1.

This number shows how fans have viewed your team over time and how it compares to others on the grid.

The better your performance, the higher your rating—and the more benefits you unlock.

How Do You Earn Fan Points?

You earn Fan Points through a variety of in-game actions.

Weekend results matter since completing race targets, achieving milestones, and competing in rivalries all add up.

The Accolades system monitors long-term objectives such as reaching a set sponsor income or completing several seasons.

These achievements increase your reputation score, giving you a clear reason to race well and plan ahead.

Even the off-track moments like department activities and team gatherings play a part in shaping your Fan Rating.

What Do You Get From Leveling Up Fan Rating?

Each time your Fan Rating hits a new tier, you unlock one-time rewards and additional perks.

These range from boosts in sponsor earnings to discounts on costly facility upgrades. There's also a separate system for Fan Bonuses, which you can unlock by combining high Fan Ratings with strong Sentiment scores.

These bonuses give temporary but valuable boosts that can shift the balance in tight races or help secure long-term growth. You can view your current Fan Rating at a glance in the My Team menu, shown as a number next to a flag icon by your team’s name.

If you want a closer look at your next reward and how you rank against other teams, visit the Team Owner section and open the Fan Rating screen.
