Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown missed many elements that were part of the series' identity. Real estate was one lifestyle feature that was absent and was a huge miss.
Fortunately, the racer continues to get updates to correct course, despite the challenges KT Racing faces behind the scenes. Housing will return to Solar Crown and looks promising from early impressions.
Here's everything we know about the TDU Solar Crown Real Estate update.
When are Houses being released in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown?

A definitive date for the launch of real estate hasn't been shared yet, but it's confirmed to arrive with Season 8, which launches in spring 2027.
That's a minimum of seven months away. You'll have to occupy yourself with Season 7 until then.
Everything About Houses in TDU Solar Crown
The recent episode of News From the Pits detailed the work-in-progress house builds in TDU Solar Crown.
From the early looks, it appears incredibly deep in terms of customization. It follows most of the previous games but dials it up to modern standards.
Real Estate Agency

Immersively, you buy a house in TDU Solar Crown through various real estate agents around the open world.
As you walk in, you talk with the agents to see all the available houses and sign an agreement before you buy.
You can even sell your house. Prices for houses will be dynamic, so you can make a profit if you sell them at the right time.
In terms of property variety, some houses will be unique while others will be clones with different layouts. Like, two same-looking houses, but one is near the sea so you have a beach in your backyard.
House Customization

This is where things get super interesting. Pretty much every bit of the interior can be customized.
It includes any furniture, walls, paintings (you can add in-game screenshots of yours), floors, countertops, and so much more. All of them can be placed in any position that makes sense, as there is no grid restricting you.
There won't be outdoor customization due to technical limitations, but indoor customization is pretty deep. The garage can also be designed how you want. You can place up to eight cars in whatever position you like.
Your friends can visit your house. When they do, you can see their cars parked in your driveway. Of course, if you prefer solitude, you can choose to restrict who can visit your home.
Lastly, there will be a Smart Home Panel that'll help you with managing property status and playing the radio.
That's everything about the houses coming to TDU Solar Crown. We will update you as more official information is revealed.
