Milestone's Screamer is one of the most anticipated racing games of 2026. Set in a neon-lit dystopian backdrop, the '90s arcade racer is back with a twin-stick twist, sporting a distinctive anime-style aesthetic and a far more aggressive gameplay.

Screamer was first revealed during The Game Awards 2024. It returned to the same stage a year later in 2025 with a release date reveal. Pre-orders for the racer went live immediately after.

All that said, here is the release date and edition details for Screamer

Screamer release date

Screamer will release on March 26, 2026. Players who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition can play the game three days early. The date was confirmed during the 2025 The Game Awards, along with a story trailer.
