MXGP 26 is the official game of the FIM Motocross World Championship, featuring authentic riders from MXGP and MX2, real bikes, and iconic tracks such as Bariloche and Pietramurata.

Some of the biggest names in the sport, such as Romain Febvre, Maxime Renaux, and Kay de Wolf, will be in the game

This entry in the franchise was developed using the Unreal Engine 5, instead of the traditional KT Engine. A natural decision when taking into account the negative reception of MXGP 24, which made clear that something needed to change.

The gameplay physics were completely redesigned, and the helmet-cam was introduced. Riders now react dynamically to the track terrain, adopting realistic movements during bumps, jumps, and turns.

At the same time, the helmet-cam adds an extra layer of immersion, making players truly feel they are the ones inside the helmet and seated on the bike.

Dynamic Deformation is another big addition in MXGP 26, as the track will evolve as the race progresses, with the terrain deforming and players needing to adapt to it in real time.

Tracks will look vastly different in the beginning and at the end of the race.

MXGP 26 also provides full customization. Players will be able to customize their riders with gear from real brands, such as Fox Racing and Alpinestars.

The same applies to bikes, as players can customize any of the official championship manufacturers' machines as they see fit.

When it comes to game modes, MXGP 26 will have online races, Grand Prix, Championship, Time Attack, and a free exploration mode called The Compound.

As mentioned further above, MXGP 26 will release in October 2026 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
