- Quick Answer: Le Mans Ultimate V1.4.2 released September 22, 2026, as a free update with over 90 liveries, ELMS 2026, and netcode fixes.
Studio 397 released Le Mans Ultimate V1.4.2 on September 22.
The free patch fills out the 2026 Le Mans and European Le Mans Series grids with over 90 new liveries, adds ELMS 2026 as a playable season, and continues the cleanup of the game's troubled new netcode.
It arrived alongside US Track Pack 2, a separate paid DLC that adds Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta and the Streets of Long Beach.
Studio 397 has been upfront that this is mostly a bug-fixing release, telling players waiting on brand-new features that they "will have to wait until V1.5 for that."
Over 90 Liveries Complete the 2026 Le Mans and ELMS Grids

V1.4.2 brings the LMP2 and LMGT3 fields in line with this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans entry list, one-off 24-hour designs included. That completes the grid that began with the Hypercar liveries added quietly in V1.4.
Fresh liveries also cover all three ELMS classes. A new season select option for ELMS 2026 makes the championship available as a single-player Race Weekend, and every LMP2, LMP3, and LMGT3 car from the 2026 season can now be selected.
RUDP Netcode Gets Another Round of Fixes

V1.4 moved the game's online backbone from TCP to RUDP, and the rollout has been rough.
Studio 397 acknowledged as much ahead of the patch, saying "the netcode and disconnections some players were experiencing online is not what any of us want to see."
The studio has already reversed some of the initial protocol changes, and V1.4.2 adds further connection fixes along with a rework of how RUDP handles rehoming.
Several online results bugs are gone too. Drivers should no longer receive a false DNF after finishing an online event, hosted servers no longer show zero players, and protest point deductions have been corrected.
The patch notes also tease bespoke online championships open to players without a RaceControl subscription for limited-time events, with details to come.
RaceControl.gg Gets Its First Public Preview

A redeveloped RaceControl.gg website is now available in preview, built on the RaceOS platform introduced in V1.4.
It adds a full schedule of upcoming races and lets players register for online events straight from the browser without launching the game.
The complete rollout is planned for V1.5.
Hypercar Tire Changes Start at Daytona

Studio 397 has updated the Hypercar tires to fix an oscillation problem at Daytona, describing this as the first version of a tire model that will roll out across every track.
The hard compound has been removed from Hypercars at Daytona and Laguna Seca. Balance of Performance has been adjusted across all circuits, including a shorter Hypercar stint length at Circuit of the Americas.
Track Limits Now Check Every Wheel
Track limits detection has been rebuilt to project curvature and check each wheel individually, and the limits were reviewed on every circuit as part of the change.
Circuit de la Sarthe gains missing flag stations in the first sector, plus collision fixes near the Goodyear bridge chicane and the Bugatti circuit entry.
Elsewhere, AI drivers no longer swerve right and then left when leaving the pit lane, and their starts at Daytona have been improved to cut down on first-lap crashes.

Paid US Track Pack 2 Adds Road Atlanta and Long Beach

US Track Pack 2 is the second of three paid packs in the US Track Pass, following Daytona International Speedway and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in US Track Pack 1 back in July.
Road Atlanta comes in its Grand Prix layout. Long Beach is the bigger departure as the first true street circuit in a game built around permanent endurance tracks, and Studio 397 called it "claustrophobic in the best way," with concrete walls on both sides and blind corner entries.
Owners of the US Track Pass get the pack as part of the bundle, and RaceControl Pro+ subscribers also receive it at no extra cost.
Road Atlanta also lands just ahead of the real Petit Le Mans, which runs at the circuit on October 3. A 10-hour Road Atlanta special event follows in the game on the weekend of October 9 to 11.
V1.5 and US Track Pack 3 Close Out 2026
Studio 397 is aiming to release V1.5 before the end of the year.
It will bring US Track Pack 3 with the final two US Track Pass circuits, the full version of the new RaceControl.gg, and an improved single-player experience.
The track pack is targeted for December, though the Steam listing notes that timeframes are not final. Before that, the game's own 24 Hours of Le Mans special event is scheduled for the week of October 20.
Motorsport Games CEO Stephen Hood said the company remains "focused on delivering our most ambitious update yet with Version 1.5."
V1.4.2 is available now as a free update on Steam, and US Track Pack 2 can be purchased separately from the game's Steam store page.
