Gran Turismo 7 has introduced a new online time trial competition, which started on June 12. This online time trial is designed to offer a great racing experience on the Red Bull Ring, a 4.3 km long real-world circuit track in Austria.

To be at the top, you have to go as fast as possible in a Gr.3 car of your choice equipped with racing medium tires.

This online trial in Gran Turismo 7 takes players to the Red Bull Ring (formerly the A1 Ring), a real-world tarmac track that's about 4.3 km long.

Players are free to use any car from the Gr.3 category. However, it looks like the Toyota Supra Racing Concept is the popular choice among users on the leaderboard currently.

Despite GT7 allowing players to choose from a wide variety of cars, the selected car should be equipped with racing medium tires and wide body kits. It's worth noting that Nitrous/overtake is prohibited.

Here are the race settings for this lap time challenge:

  • BoP/Tuning Prohibited: On
  • Car Settings: Specified
  • Track Limit: Normal
  • Shortcut Penalty: Invalidate Time

Currently, the top contestants are racing around the 1:28.810 mark.

These events are updated every Thursday, with each challenge lasting for around two weeks. Currently, the Conquer Le Mans (No Chicane) in a Gr.1 Machine, the lap time challenge released last week, is also accessible for one more week.
