This week's Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges are here, with five new races you can take part in over the coming seven days.
Among these five races, four come from existing races within the World Circuits, and the fifth one is a "Special Event" created just for this week.
The rules to participate in this GT7 challenge are simple: you need to place third or better in a particular race to complete it, and there are added bonus rewards increasing in value as you complete more.
Gran Turismo 7 May Week 5 Weekly Challenges
As of now, five new Weekly Challenges have been added to Gran Turismo 7. All these challenges have different requirements for cars, tires, and the number of laps.
So, let's understand each one of the five races in the Week 5 Weekly Challenge of Gran Turismo 7.
Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya National-European Sunday Cup 500
The first race in this weekly challenge is on a rarely used circuit in a European Sunday Cup 500, offering only 25,000 cr. Players are allowed to use any road car from a European manufacturer for this 2-lap race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya National.
Autodromo de Interlagos - American Clubman Cup 700
The next race in this weekly challenge is the recently added American Clubman 700 race at the Autodromo de Interlagos, the 4.3 km long Brazilian racetrack. This 5-lap race requires players to use a road-tuned car from any American manufacturer. Winning this race offers you an award of 68,000 cr.
Sardegna Road Track A - Special Event
The third race in this weekly challenge is the special one, and it's the most valuable as it offers 80,000 cr as a reward. This 5-lap race requires players to use the new Ferrari 812 Superfast with totally open tuning.
Circuit de Sainte-Croix C - Hypercar Parade
Up next is the Circuit de Sainte-Croix C - Hypercar Parade. While this is only a 3-lap race, the track is a bit of a slog as it features some tough restrictions. Players can use any road car; however, they'll need to drive extremely fast, as the AI rival car could be the Aston Martin Valkyrie. Winning this race will gain you 90,000 cr.
Fuji International Speedway - Gr.1 Prototype Series
The last race in this weekly challenge is one of the fastest series in the game at the fastest racecourse, the Fuji International Speedway.
This race is the longest, as it's 10 laps, and you don't actually need a Gr.1 car for this. Anything equipped with racing tires and less than or equal to 950 PP is acceptable. Winning this race will earn you 175,000 cr.
All bonus rewards in these five Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges are available as credit tickets redeemable in the Gifts section of your garage. Completing one event gives you a 100,000 cr ticket, three gives a 200,000 cr ticket, and if you complete all five, you'll get a whopping 500,000 cr ticket.
Also, to access these weekly challenges, you need to have completed the GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie.
