It's August Week 1, and Gran Turismo 7 has added four new challenges for players to take part in over the next week. This week's challenges take place on three real-world tracks, one original track, and one city-type track. As always, there is also a special event for you to participate in.

Each of these five weekly races in Gran Turismo 7 has unique requirements, including car types, tire types, and number of laps.

So let's understand each one of these five races in the GT7 weekly challenge for August Week 1:

Goodwood – Sunday Cup Classic

The first race this week is the Sunday Cup Classic at the Goodwood Motor Circuit, a 3.8 km long real-world circuit-type track in the UK. To win this 2-lap race, you are allowed to use any road car, and winning it will earn you 5,000 cr.

Brands Hatch Indy – Special Event

Up next is our special event at the Brands Hatch Indy, a 1.9 km long real-world circuit track in the UK. To win this 4-lap race, you are required to use the Nissan Qashqai '22. There are no restrictions other than the car, and winning this race will earn you 35,000 cr.

Fuji International Speedway – Race of Turbo Sportscars

Next is the Race of Turbo Supercars at the Fuji International Speedway, a 4.5 km long real-world circuit-type track in Japan. To win this 5-lap race, you can use any car that is equipped with a turbocharged engine and has a peak performance of 700 PP. Winning this race will earn you 90,000 cr.

Autodrome Lago Maggiore East End Reverse – Lightweight K Cup

The fourth is the Lightweight K Cup at the Autodrome Lago Maggiore East End Reverse, a 1.2 km long original circuit-type track in Italy. To win this 7-lap race, you can use any of the seven kei cars, but they should be equipped with comfort tires and have a peak performance limit of no greater than 400 PP. Winning this race will earn you 35,000 cr.

Tokyo Expressway East Clockwise – World Touring Car 600

Lastly, we have the World Touring Car 600 at the Tokyo Expressway East Clockwise, a 7.3 km long city-type track in Japan. To win this 12-lap race, you can use any road car, but it should have a peak performance limit of no greater than 600 PP. Winning this race will earn you 550,000 cr.

Any rewards you win will be available as credit tickets, redeemable in the Gifts Section of your garage. Completing one event will offer you a Six-Star (Parts) Ticket; three will offer a 150,000 cr Ticket; and for completing the full set, you'll get a Six-Star (Car) Ticket.

To access these weekly challenges, you must have completed the GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie.
