April is officially here which signals another step closer to the release of F1 25, on track to drop on May 30 with pre-orders now live.

F1 25 arrives as Formula 1 celebrates its 75th anniversary, and the game will reflect the sport's biggest driver shakeup in years, including Lewis Hamilton's spectacular switch from Mercedes to Ferrari.

While EA is expected to share more details about F1 25 between now and launch, we already know a few things about some of its new features and game modes, including the return of Braking Point.

F1 25 Braking Point: What We Know So Far

As you would expect, developers aren't in a rush to share every single detail about F1 25, so there's still a lot we don't know as we head towards its release. However, an overview of Braking Point 3, F1's story mode, has been published on the EA website.

Following a dramatic event that throws the team into chaos, the legacy of Konnersport is at stake. Players must attempt to fight back for the title and finally put themselves in contention for the World Championship.

Braking Point 3 introduces new features including alternative scenarios where players choose which driver to play, leading to different objectives and a unique story conclusion.

Featuring rebalanced difficulty, including a new Hard mode, Braking Point 3 makes it easier for all skill levels to find the right challenge. Enhanced performance capture with NVIDIA Audio2Face also delivers more accurate facial animations for deeper immersion.

For the first time in the series, players can extend their Konnersport experience across different game modes. After Braking Point, you can take the team into Driver Career as a driver or My Team as Team Principal. In both, Konnersport joins the grid as the 11th team, letting you shape its future.

Speaking of My Team, the mode also receives its biggest overhaul since it was introduced in F1 2020, challenging players to call the shots and take on new responsibilities as the owner of their F1 team.

Adding to its sense of realism, F1 25 continues to innovate through the power of its EGO engine, unlocking increased circuit authenticity through LIDAR technology. This means several tracks and their surroundings are transformed with a more realistic look and feel.

With the enhanced visuals in mind, F1 25 is going to be slightly more demanding on PC. If you want to get the best experience possible, check out the game's system requirements.

That's all we know about F1 25's Braking Point 3 so far, but be sure to stay up to date with us here on Racing Games.
