Assetto Corsa EVO Update 0.8 New Cars

Three cars were introduced to Assetto Corsa EVO with Update 0.8:
- KTM X-Bow GT2
- KTM X-Bow GT4
- Volkswagen Golf 8 R
Gentleman drivers will like the addition of the KTM X-Bow GT2. It is the Austrian manufacturer's most aggressive customer car, powered by Audi's 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-five.
We will also be getting its more amateur-focused variant. Both are derived from KTM's second-generation X-Bow race-car architecture. Prefer the KTM X-Bow GT4 if you don't want straight-line speed and would rather have more forgiving handling.
The Volkswagen Golf 8 R is a hot hatch that can take you to your nearest shopping mall and is capable of a high-speed getaway for those feeling naughty. In the right hands, it can surprise some race cars as well.
Assetto Corsa EVO Update 0.8 New Track
The Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit is the new track added to Assetto Corsa EVO with Update 0.8.
Africa's premier permanent racetrack with deep Grand Prix heritage, it stretches 4.5 km and can be deceptively challenging due to its elevation changes.

Here are the other major changes highlighted by KUNOS Simulazioni.
VR Changes
The biggest VR improvement is foveated rendering. It essentially concentrates rendering effort on where the player is looking while reducing fidelity in areas that are not the focus.
This, on paper, should improve performance without compromising perceived quality.
A pixel-density slider from 50% to 150%, a world-scale option, supersampling, and a custom MSAA resolution tuned specifically for VR to reduce aliasing are among the other notable additions.
Core Improvements
Update 0.8 introduced dynamic VRAM management and memory optimizations for better performance and visuals. It introduces supersampling, an updated wiper refraction effect, and a new windshield raindrop splash.
A refined tire-to-track model and revised road-temperature and dynamic-track systems will now provide consistent grip following the update. There are also several vehicle and weather-related fixes.
Hotstint timing, results, and the lap counter have all been corrected. A fuel-logic issue has been fixed.
Lastly, multiplayer now supports modded car content. A SHA verification layer that rejects modified cars or incorrect mod versions before they're available to keep integrity.
