The Asphalt Legends & TEKKEN 8 partnership caught everyone in the racing and fighting communities by surprise.
The two gaming genres are so distinct that a partnership between titles from each genre, and iconic ones at that, felt very unlikely, if not impossible.
But here we are, with TEKKEN 8 coming to Asphalt Legends via a limited-time collaboration event that takes place from 14 October to 10 November.
At the center of this special event is a brand-new fighting game mode, where players battle against bosses in best-of-three-round matches. Just like in TEKKEN 8, the goal is to K.O. your opponent and claim the glory.
This collaboration introduces six character-themed decals, inspired by some of the most popular fighters in the TEKKEN franchise, such as Kazuya, Lili, and Yoshimitsu.
The event also features two very special cars: the TEKKEN 8-themed Nissan 370Z Neon Edition and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X TEKKEN 8 Ed.
But that's not all; seven licensed TEKKEN 8 tracks are featured in the event soundtrack, eight new emojis were introduced, and the fighting game mode features a custom-designed UI and HP Bars.
